33 imagesAs you will know by now Nepal has been hit by yet another earthquake and many more have lost there lives and injured. All proceeds from print sales from this gallery will go to Community Action Nepal who work on the ground bringing aid to the Mountain regions of Nepal. We finally heard back from our friend today who is currently in Pokhara Hospital with minor injuries. We have been very worried about Raj as we haven't heard from him till now. Please Order a print and "A" help your wall look nice and "B" help those that really need us right now. Thanks, Frazer x

5 imagesWhilst at college studying photography, circa 1992, I needed to get action shots for an assignment about advertising photography. Being a keen skier and snowboarder I chose to head to Hemel dryslope and get shots of someone riding there. It only dawn the other day that the glamerous model was Ali Smith. Shot on good quality Boots 100 iso film!!

3 imagesTaken for another Catchlight Collective joint exhibition. Being held at MK Hospital the exhibitions theme is Serenity. When the Catchlight Collective chose the topic of Serenity for this exhibition I immediately knew what I was going to capture. My first thought that popped into my head was a quote from a great Australian film called The Castle when the character Darryl Kerrigan stands on the porch his batch, takes a deep breath and says "Aaahhh Serenity !" overlooking an old quarry with a scattering of electricity pylons. My work ironically explores how serene scenes have been spoilt by man's progression. One person might see the serenity still existing, yet someone else the destruction of a once tranquil scene.

3 imagesThese images are a selection chosen for the up and coming Catchlight Collective Exhibition. The exhibition is taking place within the Church Christ of the Cornerstone in Central Milton Keynes. The Catchlight Collective's assignment for this exhibition is Milieu ( a person's social environment ). This topic led me to Prague where I discovered a vibrant group of various people brought together by a sad connection of their lost companion. On the contrary of the sad moment these people have non intentionally formed a group of new friends. Not only to share their own stories but to keep each others company and help maintain the group well being and distraction the from sudden loss. These images were taken during Christmas 2009 in a Pet Cemetery in Prague Czech Republic. I was fascinated by the time and detail that went into the graves that appeared to me more like shrines to their long lost family pet. As it was christmas members of this community tendered to the graves together adding festive decoration and leaving gifts.

18 imagesOver five thousand people a year are visiting The Deadzone in Chernobyl. This was the site of the worlds worst nuclear disaster to date. The total number of those that died as a consequence of the disaster is impossible to count up. Be it during the clean up or from the contamination that erupted from the blown reactor and spread throughout Russia and Europe. Two decades later the area is being marketed as a tourist destination. Below is a link to a UK based charity that is helping the children of Ukraine that are still effected due to what happened back in 1986. http://www.chernobylrelief.com
